Phillip Calvin first appeared on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ (1998) after his legal consulting company helped her win a case. The success of his first appearance resulted in weekly appearances on Winfrey’s show. McGraw started ‘Dr. Phil,’ his syndicated advice TV-show (2002), which soon gained huge popularity and reached high viewers-ranking.
Subsequently, many other shows followed - ‘Dr. Phil House’ (2006), ‘Doctor in House’ (2007-2008). His talk-show ‘The Doctors’ (2008-2020), which deals with medical advice, won nominations and awards.
Along with his son, McGraw produced the award-winning news program ‘Daily Mail TV’ and launched the online telehealth company ‘Doctors on Demand’ (2012).
McGraw also appeared as himself in ‘Norm’ (2001), sitcom ‘Frasier’ (2003), ‘Sesame Street’ (2004) and ‘The Simpsons’ (2006). He played cameo roles in ‘Scary Movie 4’ (2006), and ‘Madea Goes to Jail’ (2009).
Other TV-shows McGraw appeared on include ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ (2009), ‘Hannah Montana’ (2010), ‘WWE Raw’ (2016), ‘Grandfathered’ (2016), ‘Conan’ (2016), ‘Crazy Ex-girlfriend’ (2015-2018). He was the executive-producer of ‘Bull’ (2016-2021), and ‘That Animal Rescue Show’ (2020).
Following her husband's death, broke and lonely, Cindy Campbell, takes job in a haunted house and falls for her divorced neighbor Tom Ryan. However, when her future plans are disrupted by an alien invasion, she is instructed by the ghost of a Japanese boy to travel to a hidden village to learn how to stop the aliens.
