Lucy Lawless is a New Zealand singer and actress. After an appearance in the comedy series ‘Funny Business’ (1989), she had a role in the TV film ‘The Rainbow Warrior’ (1993). This was followed by another TV movie 'Hercules and the Amazon Women' (1994) and a few short films including 'Peach' (1996).
Lucy Lawless then went on to act in several successful films including 'Spider-Man' (2002), 'Boogeyman' (2005) and 'Bedtime Stories' (2008) along with a few flops like 'EuroTrip' (2004)and 'Bitch Slap' (2009). On television, she starred in many shows including 'Hercules: The Legendary Journeys' (1995-1998), 'Xena: Warrior Princess' (1995-2001), 'The X-Files' (2001), 'Tarzan' (2003), 'Battlestar Galactica' (2005-2009), ' The L Word' (2009), 'Spartacus: Blood and Sand' (2010), 'Spartacus: Gods of the Arena' (2011), 'Spartacus: Vengeance' (2012), 'Parks and Recreation' (2012-14), 'The Code' (2014), 'Salem' (2015-17) and 'Ash vs. Evil Dead' (2015-18).
Lucy Lawless has also contributed to many animated movies such as - 'Hercules and Xena – The Animated Movie' (1998) and 'Justice League: The New Frontier' (2008).
