Cliff Robertson was an American actor, best known for playing young ‘John F. Kennedy’ in the 1963 film ‘PT 109.’ He made his debut in the 1955 comedy film ‘Picnic,’ which was a box-office success. Some of his other popular films include ‘ Autumn Leaves’ (1956), ‘The Naked and the Dead’ (1958), ‘Up from the Beach’ (1965), ‘Obsession’ (1976), ‘Shaker Run’ (1985), ‘Renaissance Man’ (1994), ‘Spider-Man’ (2002), and ‘Spider-Man 3’ (2007). He won the ‘Academy Award for Best Actor’ for his performance in the 1968 film ‘Charity.’ He was also nominated for the ‘Golden Globe Award for Best Actor’ in ‘Motion Picture Drama.’ His film ‘Out of Season’ (1975) was screened at the ‘25th Berlin International Film Festival.’ Some of his TV appearances came in shows such as ‘The Twilight Zone’ (1961), ‘Batman’ (1966, 1968), and ‘The Outer Limits’ (1999). He was inducted into the ‘National Aviation Hall of Fame’ in 2006.
