Isaac Hayes was an American singer, songwriter, and actor. His ‘Soul Man’ is considered to be one of the most influential songs under ‘Grammy Hall of Fame.’ Isaac made his acting debut in the 1973 documentary ‘Save the Children.’ He made his feature film debut in the crime-action film ‘Three Tough Guys’ (1974). He made his TV debut in the drama series ‘The Rockford Files’ (1976-1977). He was the voice behind ‘Jerome “chef “McElroy’ in the popular TV show ‘South Park’ (1997-2006). Some of his popular films include ‘Posse’ (1993), ‘It Could Happen to You’ (1994), ‘Uncle Sam’ (1997), ‘Reindeer Games’ (2000), and ‘Hustle & Flow’ (2005). Some of his TV show appearances came in ‘Miami Vice’ (1987), ‘Tales from the Crypt’ (1994), ‘The Hughleys’ (1999), and ‘That '70s Show’ (2006). Isaac was more successful as a musician and won an ‘Academy Award’ for his theme song in the film ‘Shaft’ (1971).Â
