Lawrence Taylor is a former American football player and actor. He is considered to be the greatest defense player in the history of ‘National Football League’ (NFL). Taylor spent his entire professional career playing for the ‘New York Giants’ (1981-1993). After a successful ‘All-American’ career at the university level, Taylor was drafted by the ‘Giants’ in 1981. During his time, Taylor won several accolades, including three ‘AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year,’ ‘Most Valuable Player’ (1986), and ‘First-team All-Pro’ in the first 9 seasons. He also led his team to win ‘Super Bowls XXI’ and ‘XXV.’ Taylor had a controversial football career. He was suspended many times for using drugs. After his career ended, he attempted to become an actor. Some of his films include ‘Any Given Sunday’ (1999), ‘In Hell’ (2003), and ‘Storm Cell’ (2019). His TV shows include ‘1st and Ten’ (1988-1991), ‘Tropical Heat’ (1992-1993), and ‘The Sopranos’ (2004).
