Matthew Steven LeBlanc, actor, producer and comedian who initially worked as model, made his onscreen debut in video-short ‘Doll Day Afternoon’ (1987), followed by a regular role in drama-series ‘TV 101’ (1988-1989).
After appearing in few music videos and small roles in series ‘Just the Ten of Us’ (1989), ‘Monsters’ (1990) and others, LeBlanc featured as ‘Vinnie Verducci,’ in sitcom ‘Married……With Children’ (1991), and reprised the role in spin-offs, ‘Top of the Heap’ (1991), and ‘Vinnie & Bobby’ (1992-1992).
Next, LeBlanc appeared in anthology-drama ‘Red Shoe Diaries’ (1993), TV-movie ‘Reform School Girl’ (1994), and starred in crime film ‘Lookin’ Italian’ (1994).
LeBlanc got his major break with the role of slow but good-natured ‘Joey Tribbiani’ in mega-successful series ‘Friends’ (1994-2004) which earned him several nominations.
After appearing in sports-comedy ‘Ed’ (1996), LeBlanc essayed supporting roles in ‘Lost in Space’ (1998) and ‘Charlie’s Angels’ (2000), and sequel ‘Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle’ (2003). He starred in the ‘Friends’ spin-off, ‘Joey’ for 2 seasons (2004-2006).
LeBlanc won nominations and awards for playing dramatized version of himself in ‘Episodes’ (2011-2017). He starred in comedy ‘Lovesick’ (2014), sitcom ‘Man with a Plan’ (2016-2020), and co-hosted British auto-show ‘Top Gear’ (2016-2018).
