Eddie Izzard is a British stand-up comedian, actor, writer and political activist who began his television career with a special appearance on 'Barf Bites Back' in 1991. He continued to appear in several telefilms and television series, and is best-remembered for his television role as Wayne Malloy in the series 'The Riches' (2007-08). Later in his career, he had recurring roles in 'United States of Tara', 'Bullet in the Face', 'Hannibal' and 'Powers'. His comedy special 'Dress to Kill' earned him an 'Emmy' in 2000.
His first major film role was in the 1996 thriller 'The Secret Agent'. He subsequently appeared on several successful movies including 'Mystery Men', 'Shadow of the Vampire', 'The Cat's Meow', 'Ocean's Twelve', 'Ocean's Thirteen', 'Across the Universe', 'Valkyrie' and 'Victoria & Abdul'. His filmography also includes voice roles in 'The Wild', 'The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian', 'Igor', 'Cars 2' and 'The Lego Batman Movie'.
