Tom Cruise is an American actor and producer who boasts of a list of successful movies that grossed millions of dollars in the US and internationally, raising him to the status of the highest paid actor in 2012. He gained recognition for 'Risky Business' (1983) and became a superstar with one of his best films, 'Top Gun' (1986).
In 1988, he appeared in the 'Academy Award'-winning film 'Rain Man', as well as the 'Golden Raspberry Award'-winning film 'Cocktail', which is considered one of his worst films.
