Emilio Estevez is an American actor who has doubled up as a director and writer as well in his career. Born to an actor father, it was only natural for Estevez to pursue acting as a career option.
Estevez debut in the big screen came with the film ‘Tex’ in 1982. During this time, he did several television series and films as well. Estevez’s big breakthrough however came with the cult classic ‘Repo Man’ as punk rocker Otto. Estevez’s list of successful films grew as his filmography included several top-grossing films of the decade such as ‘The Breakfast Club’, ‘St Elmo’s Fire’, ‘That was Then... This is Now’. After a bunch of teen-oriented films, Estevez starred in several hit films including ‘Stakeout’ and ‘Young Guns’ and their sequels, but his best role came as Coach Gordon Bombay in ‘The Mighty Ducks’. The film was enormously popular and led to two sequels.
