Kiefer Sutherland is a British-Canadian actor, producer, director, and singer-songwriter who is widely recognized for one of his best roles as Jack Bauer on the Fox drama series ‘24’ (2001–2010, 2014), for which he won an ‘Emmy’, a ‘Golden Globe’, two ‘Screen Actors Guild Awards’ and two ‘Satellite Awards’. His other notable television appearances include ‘Touch’ (2012-13) and ‘Designated Survivor’ (2016-present), both of which he also executive produced.
Following his film debut alongside his father in the American comedy-drama film ‘Max Dugan Returns’ (1983), he bagged a lead role in the Canadian drama ‘The Bay Boy’ (1984) and earned a ‘Genie Award’ nomination for his performance. His first film after relocating to Hollywood was ‘Stand by Me’ (1986), which was a commercial and critical success. He provided voice and motion capture for Big Boss and Venom Snake in the video games ‘Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes’ (2014) and ‘Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain’ (2015).
