Stand by Me is a coming-of-age movie centering on the lives of four friends, Gordon ‘Gordie’ Lachance, Christopher ‘Chris’ Chambers, Theodore ‘Teddy’ Duchamp, and Vernon ‘Vern’ Tessio. On their quest to find a dead body, the four boys battle personal demons and a gang led by John ‘Ace’ Merill, only to return home permanently changed by their experience. 

After two US Marines kill another, Lieutenant Commander JoAnne Galloway proposes to defend them suspecting that they acted on a "code red" order from above. When the case is instead assigned to Liutentent Daniel Kaffee, known for seeking plea bargains, Galloway convinces him to take the case to court and question Colonel Nathan Jessup despite lack of evidence.

Brad Jr. eventually gets arrested by the police, and they try to get him to reveal evidence that will help them arrest his father.

When John Tunstall, the distinguished British gentleman and cattle rancher in New Mexico, is gunned down by his competitor Lawrence Murphy, the young and wayward gunmen he had hired to work in his ranch, decide to take revenge. Based on a true story, the film retells the adventures of Billy the Kid, who leads the group to avenge their mentor.
