David Lynch has been a part of films noir mystery films like ‘Mulholland Drive’ and ‘Blue Velvet,’ which are considered as the greatest films of their era by critics.
Lynch has received a lot of acclaim, awards and accolades for his work, including two ‘Cesar Award for Best Foreign Film,’ a ‘Golden Lion Award,’ a ‘Palme d’Or,’ and three ‘Academy Award’ nominations in the ‘Best Director’ category.
‘Eraserhead’ was the first movie produced by him and it became a cult classic. He hogged the limelight for ‘The Elephant Man,’ a historical drama film that was directed by him. He later made ‘Dune,’ a sci-fi epic that failed at the box-office. He co-created ‘Twin Peaks,’ a mystery horror drama television series that became very popular.
