Chris Isaak is an American musician and actor. His first television appearance was as lounge singer in 'Wiseguy' (1987). Two years later, he featured in Elton John's music video ‘Sacrifice’ (1989). His film career started with a role in ‘The Silence of the Lambs’ (1991). This was followed by his appearance in 'Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me' (1992). Chris Isaak has also acted in the films 'Little Buddha' (1993), 'That Thing You Do' (1996), 'A Dirty Shame' (2004) and 'The Informers' (2008).
He starred in a major role in his own television show ‘The Chris Isaak Show (2001–04)’. On television, the actor has also guest starred in many shows including 'Friends' (1996), 'From the Earth to the Moon' (1998), 'Ed' (2003), 'American Dreams' (2004) and 'Hot in Cleveland' (2014). He has also appeared as judge/guest on 'Melrose Place' (1998), 'The Footy Show' (2004), 'Australian Idol' (2008), 'The Tonight Show' (2014) and 'The X Factor Australia' (2015).
