Peter Fonda started his acting career with Broadway and hogged the limelight with ‘Blood, Sweat and Stanley Poole.’Â
He made his film debut with ‘Tammy and The Doctor,’ which was a minor hit. He followed this success with ‘The Victors,’ an American war film where he was seen playing the supporting role, and won a ‘Golden Globe Award’ for the same.Â
He received two ‘Academy Award’ nominations - one for his performance in ‘Easy Rider,’ an independent road drama film where he starred as Wyatt, and the other for his role in ‘Ulee’s Gold,’ the drama film where he portrayed Ulee Jackson. For his performance in ‘Ulee’s Gold’ he also earned a ‘Golden Globe Award.’
His performance in ‘The Passion of Ayn Rand’ also got him another ‘Golden Globe Award’ in the ‘Supporting Actor’ category.Â
