Brad Renfro was an American actor. He did not have any acting experience when he was chosen to play the lead in his debut film, ‘The Client,’ (1994). He was 11 at the time of his debut. ‘The Client’ became one of the top-grossing films of the year. He also won ‘Young Artists Award’ for his performance in the film.Â
He went on to star in critically-acclaimed films such as ‘The Cure’ (1995), ‘Tom and Huck’ (1995), ‘Sleepers’ (1996), and ‘Apt Pupil’ (1998).’ He continued working in films such as ‘Ghost World’ (2001), ‘American Girl’ (2001), ‘The Job’ (2002), and ‘The Informers’(2008), but none of them were very successful. Many of his films were direct-to-video releases.Â
He made an appearance in an episode of ‘Law & Order: Criminal Intent’ in 2006.Â
He died of drug abuse at the age of 25 in 2008.Â
