Kris Kristofferson is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and actor. Some of his famous songs are ‘Me and Bobby McGee’, ‘For the Good Times’, ‘Sunday Mornin’ Comin’ Down’, and ‘Help Me Make It Through the Night’. He is also remembered for his performances in ‘Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore’, ‘Heaven’s Gate’ and ‘A Star is Born’.
Kristofferson did odd jobs before venturing into the world of music. His first successful song was the single ‘Viet Nam Blues’ which was released in 1966. Following this, many other albums were released including ‘Border Lord’ (1972), ‘Jesus Was a Capricorn’ (1972), ‘Surreal Thing’ (1976), ‘Shake Hands with the Devil’ (1979), ‘Third World Warrior’ (1990), ‘This Old Road’ (2006), ‘Closer to the Bone’ (2006), and ‘Please Don’t Tell Me How the Story Ends : The Publishing Demos’ (2010).
He made his acting debut with the movie ‘The Last Movie’ (1971). This was followed many other films including ‘Blume in Love’ (1973), ‘The Sailor Who Fell from Grace with the Sea’ (1976), ‘A Star Is Born’ (1976), ‘Heaven’s Gate’ (1980), ‘No Place to Hide’ (1993), ‘Girls’ Night’ (1998), ‘Blade’ (1998) and ‘7 Minutes’.
