Oded Fehr was first seen in the British television crime drama miniseries, ‘Killer Net’ in 1998. He went on to make his silver screen debut in the 1999 Stephen Sommers-directed American fantasy action-adventure film ‘The Mummy’ where he portrayed ‘Ardeth Bay.’ Even though the film opened to a mixed critical response, it turned out to be a massive commercial success and grossed over $416.4 million on a budget of $80 million. That same year, he also appeared in the Mike Mitchell-directed American sex comedy film, ‘Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo.’ Despite being panned by critics, the film managed to gross over $92.9 million on a $17 million budget. In 2001, he starred as ‘Anton Marsele’ in the American action Western film ‘Texas Rangers’ directed by Steve Miner. The film received negative reviews from critics and was a commercial failure. That same year, he reprised his role as ‘Ardeth Bay’ in ‘The Mummy Returns,’ the sequel to the 1999 film ‘The Mummy.’ The film received a mixed response from critics but performed well at the box office, grossing over $435 million on a $98 million budget. He continued to star in films such as ‘Resident Evil: Apocalypse’ (2004), ‘Scooby-Doo! in Where's My Mummy?’ (2005), ‘Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo’ (2005), ‘Resident Evil: Extinction’ (2007), ‘The Betrayed’ (2008), ‘Drool’ (2009), and ‘Limelight’ (2009).
In 2010, he joined the cast of the American action drama television series, ‘Covert Affairs’ created by Matt Corman and Chris Ord. He played the role of ‘Eyal Lavin’ and remained a part of the show until it went off-air in 2014. He next appeared in television series like ‘V’ (2011), ‘Jane by Design’ (2012), ‘NCIS’ (2013), ‘Stitchers’ (2015), ‘The Blacklist’ (2015-2019), ‘Once Upon a Time’ (2016-2017), ‘24: Legacy’ (2017), ‘When Heroes Fly’ (2018), and ‘Blood & Treasure’ (2019). In 2020, he became a part of the American television series ‘Star Trek: Discovery’ where he grabbed the role of ‘Admiral Charles Vance.’ The series was renewed for a fifth season in 2022.
