David Cross is a famous stand up comedian and an established actor, writer and director. Cross first started stand up comedy while he as in school. By 1990, he launched himself into the comedy scene at various comedy club chains across the country. What worked in favour of Cross was his ability to blend political commentary and satire into his acts. By 2004, he was counted amongst the Greatest Stand Up Comedian of All Time.
In the 1990s, Cross’ made his professional debut with ‘The Ben Stiller Show’. He appeared in guest roles for various shows including ‘Just Shoot Me!’, ‘The Drew Carey Show’, ‘NewsRadio’, ‘Strangers with Candy’ and ‘Tim and Eric Awesome Show’. By the early 2000, Cross started giving his voice in films. In 2004, he provided voice for Marine in ‘Halo 2’. Other voice roles done by him include Ian Hawke in ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks’, ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel’, and ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked’. He voiced Crane in the ‘Kung Fu Panda’ film franchise.
