Tina Louise is an American actress, best known for her role as ‘Ginger Grant’ in the comedy series ‘Gilligan’s Island’ (1964-67). She made her acting debut in Bette Davis’ ‘Two’s Company’ in 1952 and then gave many ‘Broadway’ performances in productions such as ‘The Fifth Season,’ ‘Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter?,’ and musical hit ‘Li’l Abner.’Â
Louise made her film debut in ‘God’s Little Acre’ in 1958. Her other films are ‘Garibaldi’ (1960), ‘For Those Who Think Young’ (1964) ‘The Wrecking Crew’ (1969), ‘The Stepford Wives’ (1975), ‘Evils of the Night’ (1985), ‘Welcome to Woop Woop’ (1997) and ‘Late Phases’ (2014).Â
She made her TV debut as ‘Dolores’ in the drama ‘Studio One’in 1956. She appeared in many shows such as ‘Climax!’ (1957) ‘Route 66’ (1963) and ‘Mr. Broadway’ (1964), ‘Bonanza’ (1967), ‘Kung Fu’ (1974), ‘Fantasy Island’ (1980), ‘Rituals’ (1984-85) and ‘L.A Heat’ (1999). In 2017, she appeared in the film ‘Tapestry.’
