Damon Wayans started his career as a stand-up comedian. He was seen doing a brief cameo in ‘Beverly Hills Cop,’ an action-comedy film. He also appeared as a featured performer in ‘Saturday Night Live,’ the sketch comedy series. His breakout role came with ‘In Living Color,’ the Fox sketch comedy show where he was seen as a performer as well as a writer. He earned four ‘Emmy Award’ nominations for the ‘In Living Color,’ for his writing and acting. Wayans has appeared, co written and co produced various television shows and films, including ‘My Wife and Kids,’ ‘Major Payne,’ and ‘The Last Boy Scout.’ Some of his other notable works include, ‘Lethal Weapons,’ ‘Blankman,’ ‘I’m Gonna Git You Sucka,’ ‘Mo’ Money,’ ‘Marci X,’ ‘Bulletproof,’ ‘Last Action Hero,’ ‘The Great White Hype,’ and ‘Happy Endings,’ amongst various others.
