Marlon Lamont Wayans first appeared in his brother Keenen Ivory’s directorial debut, Blaxploitation-parody ‘I’m Gonna Git You Sucka’ (1988), followed by the sketch comedy-series ‘In Living Color’ (1992-1993).
Wayans starred in the romantic-crime comedy-drama ‘Mo’ Money’ (1992), and then, the sports-film ‘Above the Rim’ (1994). He, along with his brother Shawn, created and starred in the TV-sitcom ‘The Wayans Brothers’ (1995-1999), and provided voice in brother Damon’s animated series ‘Waynehead’ (1996-1997).
Next, Wayans wrote and starred in the comedy-film ‘Don’t be a Menace for South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood’ (1996), and starred in the sports-comedy film ‘The Sixth Man’ (1997) and the sci-fi buddy-comedy film ‘Senseless’ (1998).
In 2000, Wayans appeared as ‘Tyrone Love’ in the psychological drama-film ‘Requiem for a Dream,’ the fantasy-adventure ‘Dungeons & Dragons’ as ‘Snail,’ and also co-wrote-starred in the Keenen Ivory-directed parody-film ‘Scary Movie,’ followed by sequel ‘Scary Movie 2’ (2001).
After starring in Coen Brothers’ black-comedy film ‘The Ladykillers’ (2004), Wayans wrote-produced and starred as ‘FBI Agent’ in the comedy ‘White Chicks’ (2004). He was a co-writer and co-producer-star of the crime-comedy ‘Little Man’ (2006) and the musical-comedy ‘Dance Flick’ (2009).
In 2006, Wayans co-produced and voiced Nickelodeon’s animated-series ‘Thugaboo.’ He appeared as ‘Rip Cord’ in the sci-fi action-film ‘G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra’ (2009) and as ‘Agent Levy’ in the action-comedy ‘The Heat’ (2013). He was writer-producer-star of the parody film ‘A Haunted House’ (2013) and its sequel (2014).
