Jack Cates, a tough and uncompromising cop, teams up with Reggie Hammond, a wise cracking convicted bank robber on parole for 48 hours. The duo has that much time to catch Reggie’s old partner Ganz, now on a killing spree, but actually searching for the booty that went missing after one of his robbery. 

The crown prince of Zamunda, Akeem Joffer, leads a luxurious life and is supposed to marry a girl of his parent’s choice. However, he decides to choose his life partner himself and along with his aide, Semmi, travels to Queens for the purpose. Disguised as poor student, he finds his perfect match in Lisa McDowell, but she has a boyfriend and her father does not approve of him.

Harlem Nights is a crime comedy film which takes us to the 1930s. It tells the story of a New York City gambling house owner and his associates who face strong competition as well as problems from gangsters and corrupt policemen.

Detective Axel Foley’s friend Mikey gets killed at former’s residence and he seeks permission to investigate the murder. However, his reckless behaviour and closeness with the victim, denies him the chance. Axel officially goes on a vacation, but actually tries to uncover the killers. He is joined in his effort by Sergeant John Taggart and Detective Billy Rosewood. 

In order to make it big, Claude and Ray head to Mississippi. However, a local sheriff charges them with a murder that they have not committed. They are shipped off to jail where they are supposed to serve life sentences. They need to find a way out to prove their innocence while also dealing with their opposing personalities.  

Adapted from the 1981 Broadway musical of the same name, the story follows the life and struggle three black soul singers, Deena, Effie and Lorrell. Mentored by Curtis Taylor, who later opens his own label, they are soon pushed into spotlight and become a top-selling mainstream pop group; but realize that fame does not come cheap.

So Valentine gets Winthorpe’s job while Winthorpe is falsely framed for a crime. As the two realize the situation, they design their own plan. 

Dr Dolittle 2 is a comedy film which tells the story of Dr Dolittle, a veterinary doctor with the ability to talk to animals. In this film, he tries to help a bear, Archie, with his love life, and also protect a forest from encroachment. 

When marketing executives Charlie Hinton and Phil Ryerson lose their job and cannot find any other suitable alternative, they decide to open their very own day care center, which become very popular despite initial reluctances. But angered by the competition, Gwyneth Harridan, who heads a local preschool, is bent on shutting it down. 

Dr. Doolittle, a noted surgeon, hits his head on the windshield while swerving his car to avoid running over a dog. It triggers in him a long dormant gift, enabling him to understand what animals and birds are saying and communicate with them. Although initially skeptical, he finally learns to appreciate his gifts and starts treating both animals and humans.

Though Roper has been officially taken off the case, he must get the criminal and rescue Ronnie.

These include building manager Josh Kovaks and his co-workers, who then plan a tower heist with petty criminal, Slide, to break into the apartment to steal their money back.

The portly, good-hearted Professor Sherman Klump is getting married to pretty colleague Denise Gaines, so the Klump family is rejoicing. He is also set to present a revolutionary invention. But Klump’s alter-ego, Buddy Love, keeps disrupting Klump’s plans and thwarts all Klump’s attempts to get rid of him. This science fiction action comedy film which takes us to the future i.e. the year 2069, revolves around a former criminal who buys a nightclub on the Moon and with the help of his friend and a robot, he turns it very successful and popular. However, when he refuses to sell it to the Mafia, his life turns upside down.

Best Defense is a war comedy film which tells us two parallel stories that are separated by two years; the first one is about a military weapons engineer named Wylie Cooper, who struggles to do his job responsibly, while the second story is about TM Landry, a tank commander sent to Kuwait, who is assigned to work with a battle tank, which is equipped with the same system developed by Cooper. Although the two characters never meet, the film shows how the decisions taken by Cooper affect Landry.
