Danny Aiello is an American actor, best known for starring as ‘Salvatore "Sal" Frangione’ in the film ‘Do the Right Thing’ (1989). He earned an ‘Academy Award’ nomination for ‘Best Supporting Actor’ for the role. Danny made his film debut in the 1973 film ‘Bang the Drum Slowly.’ He earned a lot of critical praise for his performance as a cop in the drama film ‘Fort Apache, The Bronx’ (1981). Some of his other successful films include ‘The Godfather Part II’(1974), ‘Once Upon a Time in America’ (1984), ‘Radio Days’ (1987), ‘Jacob's Ladder’ (1990), ‘Léon: The Professional’ (1994), ‘Dinner Rush’ (2000), and ‘Lucky Number Slevin’ (2006).
