Julie Kavner is an American actress and comedian, best known for her work as ‘Brenda Morgenstern’ on the TV series ‘Rhoda’ (1974-78), which was also her screen debut. She won four ‘Primetime Emmy Award’ nominations for her role, winning once in 1978. She won another ‘Primetime Emmy Award’ for ‘Outstanding Voice-Over Performance,’ in 1992, for her voice-role as ‘Marge Simpson.’ She played various characters on ‘The Tracey Ullman Show,’ from 1987 to 1990. Some of her other TV appearances came on series, such as ‘Petrocelli’ (1975), ‘Taxi’ (1980), and ‘Tracey Takes On...’ (1996-1999). Her popular films include ‘Hannah and Her sisters’ (1986),’Radio Days’ (1987), ‘Awakenings’ (1990), ‘Alice’ (1990), ‘Forget Paris’ (1995),’Deconstructing Harry’ (1997), ‘Click’ (2006), and ‘The Simpsons Movie’ (2007).
