Recipient of various awards and accolades for her roles in both films and television, Blythe Danner started her career with the 1967 musical ‘Mata Hari,’ and an off-Broadway production, ‘Summertree.’
She bagged in ‘Primetime Emmy Awards’ twice for her role in ‘Huff,’ an American television series where she portrayed Izzy Huffstodt. For her performance in Broadway play, ‘Butterflies Are Free,’ she won a ‘Tony Award’ in the ‘Best Actress’ category. She bagged in ‘Primetime Emmy Award’ nominations for playing Marilyn Truman in ‘Will & Grace,’ and ‘We Were the Mulvaneys.’ She won a ‘Golden Globe Award’ nomination and a ‘Primetime Emmy Award’ nomination for her performance in ‘Back When We Were Grownups.’
