Owen Wilson made his film debut as actor-screenwriter in the successful crime-comedy ‘Bottle Rocket’ (1996). Wilson was a co-screenwriter for ‘Rushmore’ (1998) and the hit-movie ‘The Royal Tenenbaums’ (2001), which earned him nominations. After playing supporting roles in ‘The Cable Guy’ (1996), ‘Anaconda’ (1999), ‘Armageddon’ (1998), ‘Permanent Midnight’ (1998), and ‘The Haunting’ (1999), he essayed the protagonist in ‘The Minus Man’ (1999).

In 2014, Wilson featured in the acclaimed comedy ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel,’ ‘Inherent Vice,’ and ‘She’s Funny That Way.’ He appeared in ‘No Escape’ (2015), ‘Wonder’ (2017), ‘Father Figures’ (2017). Wilson has voiced ‘Cars’ series, ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox’ (2009), and ‘Free Birds’ (2013).
