Nicholas David Offerman initially played minor roles in ‘Going All the Way’ (1997), ‘Treasure Island’ (1999), series including ‘ER,’ ‘The West Wing,’ and more.
Offerman appeared in his wife’s ‘The Megan Mullally Show’ and sitcom ‘Will & Grace.’ His first substantial role was in the sitcom ‘George Lopez’ (2003-2004), followed by the comedy series ‘American Body Shop’ (2007) and the series ‘Children’s Hospital’ (2008-2015).
Offerman played ‘Ron Swanson’ in the political satire ‘Parks & Recreation’ (2009-2015), which fetched him accolades. He produced/starred in comedy ‘Somebody Up There Likes Me’ (2012), and appeared in films ‘21 Jump Street’ (2012) and its sequel, ‘The Kings of Summer’ (2013), and ‘The Gunfighter’ (2014). He was writer-executive-producer-star for ‘Nick Offerman: American Ham’ (2014).
Offerman featured in ‘We’re the Miller’ (2015), and ‘Believe Me’ (2014). He provided voice in ‘The Lego Movie’ (2014) and its sequel, ‘Hotel Transylvania-2’ (2015). His performance in the series ‘Fargo’ (2015) earned him nominations.
Thereafter, he starred in ‘The Founder’ (2016) as ‘Richard McDonald,’ ‘Infinity Baby’ (2017), ‘Nostalgia’ (2018), ‘Hearts Beat Loud’ (2018), and ‘Have a Good Trip: Adventures in Psychedelics’ (2020). He earned nominations as host of the reality competitive series ‘Making It’ (2018--).
