Jake Johnson began his screen career with guest-appearances on TV and minor-roles in films, including ‘Bunny Whipped’ (2007), ‘Redbelt’ (2008).
Johnson appeared as a series-regular in ‘Derek and Simon: The Show’ (2007). He played secondary roles in the romantic-comedy ‘Paper Heart’ (2009), the comedy film ‘Get Him to the Greek’ (2010), and romantic-comedy ‘Ceremony’ (2010) and ‘No Strings Attached’ (2011).
After appearing as ‘Jesus’ in the comedy ‘A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas’ (2011), Johnson worked with Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum in the action-comedy ’21 Jump Street’ (2012).
Johnson starred in all 7 seasons of the TV-sitcom ‘New Girl’ (2011-2018) as ‘Nick Miller,’ winning nomination for ‘Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Actor in Comedy Series’ amongst others.
Johnson featured in the sci-fi romantic-comedy film ‘Safety Not Guaranteed’ (2012), followed by lead roles in the 2013 comedy-drama films ‘Drinking Buddy’ and ‘The Pretty One.’ He provided voice in ‘The Lego Movie’ (2014) and played the main voice-role in animated-series ‘High School USA’ (2013-2015).
Johnson starred in the buddy-cop action-comedy ‘Let’s Be Cops’ (2014), and portrayed various roles in educational comedy-series ‘Drunk History’ (2013-2019). He was co-writer-producer-star in comedy-films ‘Digging for Fire’ (2015), ‘Win it All’ (2017), and ‘Ride the Eagle’ (2021).
Johnson appeared in action-movies ‘Jurassic World’ (2015), and ‘The Mummy’ (2017). He was one of the leads in the comedy-film ‘Tag’ (2018). He played the lead voice-role as ‘Peter B. Parker/Spider-Man’ in computer-animated film ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ (2018), and as ‘Ben Hopkins’ in the animated-sitcom ‘Hoops’ (2020). He essayed the lead, ‘Grey McConnell,’ in the crime-drama series ‘Stumptown’ (2019-2020).
Based on a 1980s television show of the same name, 21 Jump Street sees two cops who were former classmates return to their high school in order to contain a synthetic drug outbreak. Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum’s impressive performances as undercover high school students has hilarious antics and plenty of laughs.

Win It All is a comedy film which tells the story of Eddie Garrett, a gambling addict, who works as a parking attendant. When his friend is headed to prison, he asks Eddie to hold his bag for six months without opening it or asking any questions, in exchange for $ 10,000. Eddie agrees but he can't resist the urge to open the bag, and finds a huge amount of cash in it. He takes $ 500 and wins some money. Feeling good about it, he continues to gamble with money in the bag but ends up losing a significant sum of money.
