In 2000, he made his silver screen debut in the American comedy-drama film ‘Almost Famous’ directed by Cameron Crowe. The film opened to wide critical acclaim and received 4 Academy Award nominations. Following his debut, he went on to star in films like ‘The Rutles 2: Can't Buy Me Lunch’ (2002), ‘Anything Else’ (2003), ‘Taxi’ (2004), ‘Fever Pitch’ (2005), ‘Doogal’ (2006), ‘Arthur and the Invisibles’ (2006), ‘Factory Girl’ (2006), and ‘Whip It’ (2009).
