Guy Edward Pearce first appeared on the Australian soap-opera ‘Neighbors’ (1986-1989), followed by ‘Home & Away’ (1991) and ‘Snowy River: The McGregor Saga’ (1994-1996). He made his film debut in ‘Heaven Tonight’ (1990).
Pearce’s portrayal of ‘drag-queen’ in ‘The Adventures of Priscilla: Queen of the Deserts’ (1994) fetched him international attention. He then starred in the acclaimed neo-noir ‘L.A. Confidential’ (1997), followed by ‘A Slipping Down Life’ (1999), ‘Ravenous’ (1999), and ‘Rules of Engagement’ (2000).
