In this critically acclaimed historical drama, CBS broadcast journalist Edward R. Murrow works to expose the U.S. Senator Joseph McCarthy and his fear mongering crusade to root out Communists in America. He is ably supported in his endeavour by his producer friend Fred W. Friendly and his team who, regardless of pressures from CBS' corporate sponsors, work to bring down McCarthy.

Alcoholic Willie T. Soke and his dwarf partner Marcus Skidmore are professional con-men who take jobs as Santa and his elf assistant in shopping malls during Christmas before robbing them at night. However, this year takes an unusual turn after he befriends a dimwitted and gullible young boy and raises the suspicion of the mall guard.

Submissive graphics designer, Patience Phillips, overhears a dark secret about the anti-aging cream developed by the cosmetic company she works in and is pursued by guards ordered to kill her. She gains mysterious abilities after being revived by an Egyptian Mau cat, and as the vigilante 'Catwoman', begins to investigate why she was murdered.
