Julie Bowen was first seen in the American television soap opera ‘Loving’ in 1992. She went on to star in television films and series like ‘Lifestories: Families in Crisis’ (1993), ‘Class of '96’ (1993), ‘Acapulco H.E.A.T.’ (1993), ‘Runaway Daughters’ (1994), ‘Where Are My Children?’ (1994), and ‘Extreme’ (1995). Bowen made her big-screen debut in the 1996 comedy film ‘Confessions of a Sleep Addict’ directed by Erica Rothschild. The film currently holds a 7.6 out of 10 rating on IMDb. That same year, she also starred in the Dennis Dugan-directed American sports comedy film ‘Happy Gilmore’ where she played the role of ‘Virginia Venit.’ While the film opened to a mixed critical reception, it came out as a financial success and grossed over $41.2 million on a budget of $12 million. She was next seen in television series and films like ‘An American Werewolf in Paris’ (1997), ‘Three’ (1998), ‘ER’ (1998-1999), ‘The Last Man on Planet Earth’ (1999), ‘Oh Baby’ (2000), ‘Ed’ (2000-2004), ‘Justice League’ (2002), ‘Jake in Progress’ (2005), and ‘Lost’ (2005-2007).
