Jared Padalecki made his television debut in 2000, when he starred as ‘Dean Forester’ in the comedy-drama series ‘Gilmore Girls.’ He remained a part of the show until 2005. Following his debut, Jared next appeared in the medical drama series ‘ER’ in 2001. The following year, he starred as ‘Zachery Gray’ in the television film ‘A Ring of Endless Light.’
Jared Padalecki made his film debut in the 2004 teen comedy film ‘New York Minute.’ The film was panned by critics and was a box office failure. He next starred in the slasher film ‘House of Wax’ (2005) directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. While the film received mostly negative reviews from critics, it managed to do decent business at the box office.Â
In 2005, Jared starred as ‘Sam Winchester’ in the dark fantasy drama television series ‘Supernatural’. He earned critical acclaim for his performance in the series and went on to win 2 ‘Best Male Performance at the Constellation Awards’ along with the ‘People’s Choice Award’ and ‘Teen Choice Award.’ Jared remained a part of the series till it finally concluded in 2020.   Â
Jared hosted the MTV horror reality series titled ‘Room 401’ in 2007. However, the series was closed down after eight episodes on account of poor ratings. In 2011, Jared Padalecki reprised his role as ‘Sam Winchester’ in ‘Supernatural: The Anime Series.’ The anime series ran for 22 episodes.Â
Jared Padalecki has also starred in films, such as ‘Cry Wolf’ (2005), ‘Christmas Cottage’ (2008), and ‘Friday the 13th’ (2009). His last film appearance was in the 2015 film ‘Phantom Boy’ where he voiced the character ‘Lieutenant Alex.’Â
Jared is currently seen playing the role of ‘Cordell Walker’ in the action crime-drama television series ‘Walker.’ The series is currently running its second season.
