Kendrik Kang-Joh Jeong won a comedy competition (1995) and then got a chance on Comedy Central’s ‘Comic Groove’ (2002). He proved himself in first movie ‘Knocked up’ (2007). He subsequently appeared in ‘Step Brothers,’ ‘Pineapple Express,’ and ‘Role Models,’ followed by the sitcom ‘Community’ (2009-2015), which brought him acclaim and nominations. He also featured in ‘All about Steve,’ & ‘Couples Retreat’ around the same time.
Jeong played negative role as ‘Mr. Chow’ in ‘Hangover’ (2009), which was followed by Part II and III, winning him ‘MTV Award for Best Villain.’ The year 2011 saw him in ‘Zookeeper’ and ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon.’ He played motivational speaker in ‘Pain & Gain’ (2013).
Jeong was executive producer-writer-star of comedy series ‘Dr. Ken’ and producer-actor for ‘Advantageous’ in 2015. He was a panelist in ‘The Masked Singer’ (2018), and host-co-executive producer of the show ‘I Can See Your Voice’ (2020). His first comedy special was ‘You Complete Me, Ho’ (2019). He appeared in ‘Ride Along 2’ (2016), ‘Crazy Rich Asians,’ & ‘Then Came You’ in 2018.
In 2020, Jeong appeared in ‘My Spy,’ ‘The Opening Act,’ and as voice-actor for ‘Scoob!’, ‘Over the Moon.’ He featured in ‘Tom & Jerry’ (2021).
