Margaret Constance "Maisie" Williams made her acting debut in the HBO fantasy television series ‘Game of Thrones’ in 2011. She played the role of ‘Arya Stark’ which earned her several awards including the ‘Portal Award,’ ‘EWwy Award,’ and 2 ‘Saturn Awards.’ Williams remained a part of the series until it went off-air in 2019. In 2012, she joined the cast of the BBC television series ‘The Secret of Crickley Hall’ directed by Joe Ahearne. The show ran for 3 episodes. In 2014, she made her big-screen debut in the Irish comedy film ‘Gold’ directed by Niall Heery. The film received mostly positive reviews from critics. In 2017, she starred as ‘Isabel Baxter’ in the romantic period-drama film ‘Mary Shelley’ directed by Haifaa al-Mansour. The film received mixed reviews from critics. She next appeared in films like ‘Early Man’ (2018), ‘Then Came You’ (2018), ‘The New Mutants’ (2020), and ‘The Owners’ (2020). In 2021, she was seen voicing the character ‘Cammie MacCloud’ in the American adult animated science fiction ‘Gen:Lock’ created by Gray Haddock.
