Dominic Monaghan is an English actor and voice artist. He made his acting debut in the television series ‘Hetty Wainthropp Investigates’ (1996–98). During this time, he also starred in the TV movie ‘Hostile Waters’ (1997). This was followed by his role in the The Lord of the Rings trilogy- ‘The Fellowship of the Ring’ (2001), ‘The Two Towers’ (2002) and ‘The Return of the King’ (2003) out of which the third sequel went on to become the most commercially successful.
Till date, Monaghan has also starred in many other films such as 'The Purifiers' (2004), 'The Purifiers' (2008), 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' (2009), 'Soldiers of Fortune' (2010), 'The Day' (2011), 'Molly Moon and the Incredible Book of Hypnotism' (2015), 'Pet' (2016), 'Atomica' (2017) and 'Mute' (2018).
On television, he also has had roles in 'Lost' (2004-2010), 'FlashForward' (2009-2010), 'The Unknown' (2012), 'Wild Things with Dominic Monaghan' (2012-present) and '100 Code' (2014). As a voice actor, Monaghan has contributed to the video games 'Lost' (2008), 'Lego the Lord of the Rings' (2012) and 'Quantum Break'(2016).
