30 years after the fall of the Empire, the First Order emerges to threaten the New Republic. Captured by dark warrior Kylo Ren, Resistance pilot Poe Dameron sends information about self-exiled Jedi Luke's location via a BB-8 robot. In Star Wars: The Last Jedi, we see the good guys, aka the Resistance, battle it out with the bad guys, also known as the First Order in epic style. Featuring recurring heroes like Han Solo and Princess Leia, this epic space opera is the third part of the Star Wars sequel trilogy.

The movie finds Rey, Finn, and Poe leading the Resistance against Kylo Ren and the First Order. What follows is Kylo’s path to redemption and Rey discovering that she is the grandchild of the still-living Emperor Palpatine. The Resistance wins but Kylo ends up sacrificing himself to save Rey who then takes up the mantle of Skywalker.
