Dante Hicks, a convenience store clerk, is called to work on his off day and soon finds himself dealing with numerous things - weird customers, girlfriends related issues, a funeral to be attended, a hockey match in which he has to play in the afternoon and on the top of it all, his best friend Randal who works at the neighbouring video store and is not interested in his job at all. 

When two angels are banished from heaven due to disobedience, they desperately look for a way to return. They find one too, but their solution can destroy humanity.
