Chelsea Peretti first appeared in the Episode: "12:21" of the British television series ‘Comedy Lab’ in 2004. After making a brief appearance in the television program ‘Cheap Seats’ in 2006, Peretti made her big-screen debut in the 2007 black comedy film ‘Twisted Fortune.’ The following year, she became a part of the American cable television comedy series ‘truTV Presents: World's Dumbest…’ She appeared in 88 episodes and remained a part of the show until 2013. She continued to star in television series and shows such as ‘Louie’ (2010), ‘The Sarah Silverman Program’ (2010), ‘WTF with Marc Maron’ (2010), ‘Comedy Central Presents’ (2011), ‘Parks and Recreation’ (2011-2012), ‘China, IL’ (2011-2013), ‘The Couple’ (2012), ‘The Greatest Event in Television History’ (2013), ‘Saturday Night Live’ (2013), ‘Comedy Bang! Bang!’ (2013-2015), and ‘Kroll Show’ (2013-2015). In 2013, she joined the cast of the American police procedural comedy television series ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ where she played the role of ‘Gina Linetti.’ The show ran for 8 seasons and aired its final episode in 2021. Peretti also received the ‘American Comedy Award’ and ‘Screen Actors Guild Award’ nominations for her performance in the series. She was next seen in television series like ‘Key & Peele’ (2014), ‘Gravity Falls’ (2015), ‘Drunk History’ (2015), and ‘The Big Fat Quiz of Everything’ (2015-2016).
The year 2016 saw the release of the American mockumentary musical comedy film ‘Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping’ where Peretti was seen playing the role of a Brunette CMZ Reporter. Even though the film garnered praise from critics, it failed in its run at the box office. Nevertheless, ‘Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping’ gained a cult status in subsequent years. She went on to appear in films like ‘Game Night’ (2018), ‘Spinster’ (2019), ‘The Photograph’ (2020), and ‘Friendsgiving’ (2020). She was last seen in the 2021 American computer-animated jukebox musical comedy film ‘Sing 2’ directed by Garth Jennings. The film was a critical and commercial success.
