American singer, actress and author, Lea Michele started her career as a child artist on Broadway. She voiced the main character in the animated film ‘Buster & Chauncey’s Silent Night’ in 1998. Lea made her big screen debut in the movie ‘New Year’s Eve’ in 2011 and released her debut studio album ‘Louder’ in 2014. She received nominations for two Golden Globes and an Emmy award for her role in the serial ‘Glee’ (2009 – 2015). She also published two books titled ‘Brunette Ambition’ (2014) and ‘You First: Journal Your Way to Your Best Life’ (2015). She voiced the character Dorothy Gale in the animated movie ‘Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return’ (2014) and is a name to reckon with in show business.
Though her acting career has been a great success, she was not that lucky with her musical ventures. Her debut album ‘Louder’ got mixed reviews and her second album ‘Places’ did not come up to her expectations either.
Lea Michele has a number of television credits that include ‘Third Watch’ (2000), ‘The Simpsons’ (2010), ‘Sons of Anarchy’ (2014), ‘Scream Queens’ (2015 – 2016) and the current serial ‘The Mayor’. She has also appeared in the music videos ‘Cannonball’ (2013) and ‘On My Way’ (2014).
