Andrea Laura Barber is a seasoned American film and television actress whose career got off to an inspiring start when she landed a part in the TV series, ‘The King and I’. However, she shot to prominence by starring as ‘Carrie Brody’ in the soap opera, ‘Days of Our Lives’ at the age of seven, a role she continued to portray for four years from 1982 to 1986. Her debut appearance in a movie was in the telefilm, ‘Do You Remember Love’ where she enacted the part of Jennifer.
Andrea made her mark on the small screen and earned accolades by virtue of her stellar performances in episodes of TV serials and telefilms. She picked up a total of four nominations and two awards for depicting Carrie Brody in ‘Days of Our Lives’, definitely one of her best roles. However, she achieved sweeping fame when she portrayed Kimmy Gibbler in ‘Full House’ an NBC sitcom, initially on a recurring basis but later on as a regular from 1987 to 1995.
