Rita Moreno is a Puerto Rican actress, singer and dancer. In her career spanning over 70 years, she has appeared in several films including 'The King and I' (1956), 'West Side Story' (1961), 'Summer and Smoke' (1961), 'Cry of Battle' (1963), 'The Night of the Following Day' (1968), 'Popi' (1969), 'Marlowe' (1969), 'The Ritz' (1976), 'The Four Seasons' (1981), 'Slums of Beverly Hills' (1998) and 'Rio 2' (2014).
As a television actress, Rita Moreno has been a part of the dramas 'The Electric Company' (1971-77), 'The Rockford Files' (1978), '9 to 5' (1982-83), 'B.L. Stryker' (1989-90), 'The Cosby Mysteries' (1994-95), 'Oz' (1997–2003), 'Law & Order: Criminal Intent' (2006-2007), 'Cane' (2007), 'Happily Divorced' (2011-13), 'Jane the Virgin' (2015-16) and 'One Day at a Time' (2017-present).
Moreno has also served as a voice artist for 'Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego' (1994-1998), 'Nina's World' (2015-present), 'Elena of Avalor' (2018) and 'Carmen Sandiego' (2019).
