Soleil Moon Frye is an American actress, screenwriter and producer best known for her role as ‘Penelope "Punky" Brewster’ in the American sitcom ‘Punky Brewster’ (1984-1986. The show wasn’t a great success but her character became quite popular among children. Soleil made her acting debut in TV film ‘Missing Children: A Mother's Story’ (1982). She reprised her role in the animated spin-off ‘It’s Punky Brewster’ in 1985. Since then, she has appeared in a lot of TV shows including ‘The Wonder Years’ (1990), ‘Heaven Help Us’ (1994) and ‘Friends’ (1999). Her next popular role came in the American sitcom ‘Sabrina, the Teenage Witch’ (2000) as ‘Roxie King.’ She has appeared in films such as ‘The St. Tammany Miracle’ (1994), ‘Motel Blue’ (1999) and ‘The Girl’s Room’ (2000). She has directed films such as ‘Wild Horses’ (1998) and ‘Sonny Boy’ (2004). She also hosted ‘Home Made Simple’ in 2013.
