Nancy Carell started her career with improvisational comedy troupe (Chicago), making her first screen appearance as a performer on the ‘Saturday Night Live’ (1995-1996).
Carell appeared in the series ‘LastLine’ (1998) and played various roles in ‘Random Play’ (1999). Next, she appeared as a correspondent for the late night talk-show and the satirical news program ‘The Daily Show’ during 1999-2002.
Carell was seen briefly in the buddy-comedy ‘Anger Management’ (2003), and had a small role as ‘health clinic counselor’ in her husband Steve Carell-starrer hit romantic-comedy ‘The 40-Year-Old Virgin’ (2005). She appeared in a guest-role as ‘real estate agent Carol Stills’ in the mockumentary sitcom ‘The Office’ (2005-2013), and appeared in an episode of ‘The Naked Trucker and T-Bones Show’ (2007).
For the animated series ‘The Goode Family’ (2009), Carell provided voice to the character ‘Helen Goode.’ After a brief part in the comedy ‘Bridesmaids’ (2011), she appeared in the 2012 romantic-drama film ‘Seeking a Friend for the End of the World’ and series ‘Georgia.’
Along with husband, Steve Carell, she co-created comedy series ‘Angie Tribeca’ and also featured in it as ‘Mrs. Perry’ (2016).
