Michael Myers is a Canadian-American actor, comedian, producer and screenwriter. He started off as a professional right from the age of 2, appearing in advertisements and at the age of 12 debuted on television, guest starring in an episode of ‘King of Kensington’. Upon completing his graduation, he became a member of a peripatetic theater group, ‘Second City’, and following brief appearances in several TV episodes, ventured into big screen with ‘Wayne’s World’.
He also starred in a sequel of Wayne’s World, ‘Wayne’s World 2’ and added to his filmography by appearing in the lead cast for ‘Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery’ and ‘Shrek’. He also featured in the spin-offs of ‘Austin Powers’ and ‘Shrek’, going on to grab multiple nominations and awards for his impressive acting in the original movies and the sequels. However, he is best known for being a star performer on ‘Saturday Night Live’ from 1989 to 1995.
