David Fincher is best known for directing thriller films like ‘The Game’ (1997), ‘Panic Room’ (2002), and ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ (2011). He made his directional debut with the film ‘Alien 3’ (1992). He has appeared as himself in the documentary film ‘Side by Side’ (2012) that explores the development of cinema over the past two decades.
His films ‘Seven’ (1995) and ‘Fight Club’ (1999) were well received. His ‘Zodiac’ (2007) and ‘The Social Network’ (2010) have been rated as one of the 100 Greatest Films of the 21st Century by BBC. His ‘The Girl in the Spider’s Web’ (2018) did not do that well at the box office.
Fincher has produced and directed the popular series ‘House of Cards’ (2013 – 2018). He is the executive producer of the series ‘Mindhunter’ (2017) and ‘Love Death & Robots’ (2019).
He has won two 'Grammy Awards for Best Music Video' for directing songs ‘Love is Strong’ by 'The Rolling Stones' and ‘Suit & Tie’ by Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z.
