David Dencik made his screen debut in the 2003 psychological romantic drama film ‘Reconstruction’ directed by Christoffer Boe. In 2005, he made his first television appearance in the Swedish mini-series ‘Lasermannen’ where he portrayed ‘John Ausonius.’ After starring in films like ‘Daisy Diamond’ (2007) and ‘Not Like Others’ (2008), Dencik played the role of ‘Janne Dahlman’ in the 2009 crime thriller film ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ directed by Niels Arden Oplev. The film was warmly received by critics and was a massive box office success, grossing over $104 million on a $13 million budget.
