Caleb McLaughlin first came into prominence in his role as 'Young Simba' in the Broadway musical ‘The Lion King’ (2012 -2014). He made his television debut with the crime-drama series 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit' in 2013. That same year, he also starred in the Episode: "New Hundred" of ‘Unforgettable.’
Caleb McLaughlin went on to appear in popular television series and shows such as ‘Forever’ (2014), ‘What Would You Do?’ (2015), and ‘Last Week Tonight with John Oliver’ (2015). In 2016, Caleb starred as ‘Lucas Sinclair’ in the science fiction-horror web television series ‘Strange Things.’ He earned wide praise for his performance and even won the ‘Screen Actors Guild Award’ and ‘NAACP Image Award’ for his role. In 2018, Caleb played a voice role in the animated series ‘Final Space.’ That same year, he also voiced the character ‘Ghost’ in the animated television series ‘Summer Camp Island.’
McLaughlin has made guest appearances on shows like ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ (2014) and ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’(2017).
Besides television, he has acted as Noah in the short film ‘Noah Dreams of Origami Fortunes’ (2012) and Darius in ‘High Flying Bird’ (2019). Caleb also did a voice role in the adventure film ‘Dora and the Lost City of Gold’ (2019).
Caleb McLaughlin will be next seen in the 4th season of ‘Stranger Things’ where he will reprise his role as ‘Lucas Sinclair.’
