Following the disappearance of six-year-old Georgie, his older brother Bill leads a search attempt with a group of seven bullied kids from Derry, Maine. They discover that the culprit is the shape-shifting clown Pennywise that returns every 27 year to prey on children's fears, and Bill and his friends must learn to conquer their inner fears to defeat it.

Callie is a financially struggling single mother who inherits a farm and moves there along with Trevor and Phoebe, her two children, as she has been evicted from her apartment. Phoebe soon begins to discover supernatural occurrences and learns that their house is haunted. The children soon find an underground laboratory and meets their grandfather’s ghost. They begin to discover their connection to the original Ghostbusters and the secret legacy left behind by their grandfather.
