Jill Clayburgh is remembered for her portrayal of strong independent women on stage as well as on the big screen. She started her career on stage with actor Al Pacino in plays like ‘American Hurrah’ and ‘The Indian Wants the Bronx.’ She made her Broadway debut in the play ‘The Sudden and Accidental Re-Education of Horse Johnson’ in 1968. She appeared as a guest in the popular television series ‘Frasier’ (1998) and received positive reviews for her role as Letitia Darling in ‘Dirty Sexy Money’ (2007 – 2009).
