Bob Denver was an American actor. He made his television debut in an episode of ‘The Silent Service’ (1957). He followed this with lead roles in 'The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis' (1959-63) and ' Gilligan's Island' (1964-67). Later, he went on to star in the shows The Good Guys (1968–1970), Dusty's Trail (1973) and Far Out Space Nuts (1975).
During his career, Denver mainly acted on television. He also had appearances on 'Love, American Style' (1970-73), 'The Love Boat' (1979), 'Fantasy Island' (1980-83) and 'Evening Shade' (1993). His voice work on television includes ‘The New Adventures of Gilligan' (1974-75) and 'Gilligan's Planet' (1982).
Denver also starred in the made-for-TV reunion films ‘Rescue from Gilligan's Island’ (1978) and ‘The Harlem Globetrotters on Gilligan's Island’ (1981). As a film actor, he performed in ‘A Private's Affair’ (1959), ‘Take Her, She's Mine’ (1963), ‘For Those Who Think Young’ (1964), ‘Who's Minding the Mint’ (1967) and ‘Did You Hear the One About the Traveling Saleslady’ (1968).
